Jordynne Grace defended her TNA Knockouts Championship against Marti Belle on an episode of iMPACT in May. During the match, she faced a nasty injury. The 28-year-old lost a part of her ear during the match. Following this incident, many fans and wrestlers reached out to her, including wrestling legend Mick Foley.

Speaking with Fightful, Jordynne Grace revealed that she received a text message from the Hall of Famer. The message caught the TNA star by surprise, as she did not have Foley’s number. The former WWE Champion welcomed Grace into the club of ear injuries, telling her that if she needed any advice on the situation, he was there to help her.

Mick Foley infamously suffered a highly similar injury during his career. The hardcore legend was facing Vader during WCW’s tour of Germany in 1994. After a hangman spot on the ropes, he lost a part of his ear, and the injury is still highly noticeable to this day.

The former powerlifter also revealed that she tried to sell the stockings with the piece of her ear on eBay for charity. However, the site quickly took down her sale as they did not allow people to sell human body parts. She claimed that this was unfair, as it was simply cartilage and not a complete body part. Regardless, she had to figure out what she wanted to do with her ear, as she was afraid it would soon change color.

Jordynne Grace takes shots at AEW following her

Jordynne Grace is set to face Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at Battleground. On the way to her championship match, the TNA Knockouts Champion faced Stevie Turner in a singles match on the latest episode of NXT. This was a historical moment, as it marked the first singles match in WWE between women signed to two different promotions.

After the historic match, Grace also posted a photo of herself laughing alongside wrestling veteran Natalya. She captioned the photo ‘Prohibited Portal,’ making a subtle reference to AEW’s Forbidden Door and their inter-promotional partnership with NJPW.

The TNA star also wanted to thank her opponent for the match. She took to X after her second NXT appearance and asked fans to give Turner her flowers, as she could not have made history without her. She said that she had been the underdog several times and knew how hard it could be to keep betting on herself and continue to move forward.
