Aguilar opened up about her family in an interview with Chic Magazine. She says that she was very close to her grandparents, and learned a lot from them. "I learned many things from them and thanks to them today I love connecting with people, with hearts and I also feel the responsibility of keeping this tradition alive, so that the new generations know about our music."
Aguilar is connected to her culture, and talked about it in the caption of this Instagram post. "Yesterday was something that filled me with life and love. Dancing with you, singing my ranchera songs for the first time and seeing the connection we have was a beautiful thing and I am deeply grateful. "Because my grandparents did everything: movies, radio, television, shows… And every time I admire them more, not only because of their impressive career, but because they gave value to truly important things; they had a life of peace, love and respect, that's why their relationship lasted so many years in harmony and that's why they were so loved by people."
