Khaled is an Algerian raï singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and musician. He became famous through songs such as “Didi,” “Aïcha,” and “C’est la vie.” He is immensely popular, and the biggest selling artist of raï music. He has also been known as “King of Raï,” “Cheb Khaled,” Arabic for “Young Khaled,” and “The Ambassador of Arab music.”

Khaled’s mother is from Béchar, Algeria. His parents can be seen here. He was awarded Moroccan citizenship in 2013. Khaled is married to Samira Diabi. He has six children, including five with Samira.
