He became famous through songs such as “Didi,” “Aïcha,” and “C’est la vie.” He is immensely popular, and the biggest selling artist of raï music. He has also been known as “King of Raï,” “Cheb Khaled,” Arabic for “Young Khaled,” and “The Ambassador of Arab music.”
