Joe Burrow did not participate in 'White Dudes for Harris' call, team says
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The "White Dudes for Harris" fundraiser raised $4 million for Kamala Harris' presidential campaign. Despite rumors on social media, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow apparently did not attend the call.
Multiple celebrities came together on a YouTube livestream on Monday evening to show support for Kamala Harris and raise money for her campaign. Some notable faces in attendance included Mark Hamill, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Jeff Bridges.
An X account called Kamala's Wins posted, "BREAKING: Joe Burrow is supporting Kamala Harris for President and even joined the White Dudes for Kamala call.” This post seems to be the main catalyst for the rumor, and has since been deleted.
Furthermore, Neal Kwatra, former chief of staff for the New York Attorney General, made a similar post to X claiming that Burrow was in attendance alongside fellow quarterbacks Daniel Jones and Jared Goff.
Since the call on Monday night, no proof that Burrow attended the livestream has come out.
A spokesperson from the Bengals confirmed that Burrow did not attend the livestream.
