Canadian WTA player Eugenie Bouchard, who has now switched to pickleball, has made a bold claim as British ATP star Jack Draper confessed his love for cameras. As Draper admitted that he enjoys being in front of the camera, Bouchard claimed that she would have been “crucified” had she said the same thing a decade back.

Notably, while shooting for Vogue, Draper confessed that he enjoys modeling and has developed a love for the camera over the years. This statement from the Briton created quite a buzz on the internet and reached Bouchard, who was quick to come up with a bold claim.

The Canadian highlighted how it was not an acceptable thing a few years back and she would have been crucified had she said anything like that. Bouchard reshared a post on X that mentioned Draper’s quotes and added her comment in the caption.

If I had said this 10 years ago I would have been crucified
Eugenie Bouchard posted on X.

Keeping aside the modeling gig, Jack Draper focused on beating top players

Apart from confessing his love for the cameras, Jack Draper talked about his camaraderie with fellow British tennis players like Emma Raducanu, Cameron Norrie, and Katie Boulter. Draper calls them his close friends and also claims that they push each other to do better.

The 22-year-old Briton then talked about his instant goal. Draper is focused on the Wimbledon championships. He says that his goal is to be better and beat the top players in the world.

Right now I’m giving myself the best chance to progress and beat the best players in the world.
Jack Draper said to Vogue.

Notably, Draper is currently the No. 1 Briton and is rising quickly to the ranks. The 22-year-old recently won the Stuttgart Open as he beat Italian veteran Matteo Berrettini in three sets in the final. Draper has also made a winning start to the grass-court swing as he advanced to the second round of Queen’s Club Championships. The Briton will face Carlos Alcaraz in the pre-quarterfinals.
