Actor And Producer David Gest Dead At 62

Actor and producer David Gest, who starred on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK, and was previously married to Liza Minelli, has passed away aged 62.
Gest died in London Tuesday, after police responding to a call at the Four Seasons found his body.
“Police were called at 10.17 on Tuesday 12 April to the Four Seasons hotel, in Westferry Circus to reports of an unexplained death of a man in his 60s” authorities revealed.
“London Ambulance Service were called to the scene. Life was pronounced extinct at the hotel. A post-mortem will be held in due course. Next of kin are in the process of being informed.”
Gest, who was a childhood friend to the late Michael Jackson and his siblings, produced the highest-rated musical television special in history, ‘Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration: The Solo Years’, in 2001; which was the late King of Pop’s long awaited reunion with his siblings.
Gest also starred in Celebrity Big Brother, and was married to Liza Minelli between 2002 and 2003, although the couple officially got divorced in 2007.
